[AE] Các ngoại lệ trong Card Text Asia English (Phần 1)

Format AE có thể coi là người anh em với OCG và gần như sử dụng cùng bộ luật. Tuy nhiên, vẫn có một số trường hợp ngoại lệ dẫn đến sự khác biệt trong ruling của từng lá bài, phần lớn đến từ bản dịch JP và AE khác nhau. Cùng điểm qua các trường hợp tiêu biểu mà không phải ai cũng biết!

Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous

白の聖女エクレシア
このカード名の、①の方法による特殊召喚は１ターンに１度しかできず、②③の効果はそれぞれ１ターンに１度しか使用できない。
①：相手フィールドのモンスターの数が自分フィールドのモンスターより多い場合、このカードは手札から特殊召喚できる。
②：自分・相手のメインフェイズに、このカードをリリースして発動できる。手札・デッキから「相剣」モンスターか「アルバスの落胤」１体を特殊召喚する。
③：このターンに融合モンスターが自分の墓地へ送られている場合、エンドフェイズに発動できる。墓地のこのカードを手札に加える。

Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous
If your opponent controls more monsters than you do, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only Special Summon “Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous” once per turn this way.
You can only use each of the following effects of “Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous” once per turn.
During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 “Swordsoul” monster or 1 “Fallen of Albaz” from your hand or Deck.
During the End Phase, if a Fusion Monster(s) was sent to your GY this turn: Add this card from the GY to your hand.

Ở phiên bản JP, Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous effect thứ ③ là Optional Trigger Effect, hay người chơi có thể chọn gắp lại trong EP hoặc không (ví dụ tránh đối thủ rút 1 bằng Shared Ride). Tuy nhiên tại bản AE, việc cầm lại là bắt buộc (Mandatory Trigger Effect).

Thông tin thêm: Phiên bản EN của Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous được in lại trong THE CHRONICLES DECK: The Fallen & The Virtuous (All-Foil Edition) (TCG) sẽ chính thức errata effect Ecclesia từ Mandatory thành Optional (giống bản OCG). Tuy nhiên chưa hề có cập nhật gì trên Database AE của lá bài.

Blackwing – Simoon the Poison Wind

ＢＦ－毒風のシムーン
このカード名の効果は１ターンに１度しか使用できない。
①：自分フィールドにモンスターが存在しない場合、手札からこのカード以外の「ＢＦ」モンスター１体を除外して発動できる。デッキから「黒い旋風」１枚を選んで自分の魔法＆罠ゾーンに表側表示で置く。その後、手札のこのカードをリリースなしで召喚するか、墓地へ送る。この効果で置いた「黒い旋風」はエンドフェイズに墓地へ送られ、自分は１０００ダメージを受ける。この効果の発動後、ターン終了時まで自分は闇属性モンスターしかＥＸデッキから特殊召喚できない。

Blackwing – Simoon the Poison Wind
If you control no monsters and have this card in your hand: You can banish 1 other “Blackwing” monster from your hand; place 1 “Black Whirlwind” from your Deck face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone, then, either send this card to the GY, or immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon it without Tributing. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except DARK monsters. You can only use this effect of “Blackwing – Simoon the Poison Wind” once per turn. During the End Phase, send the “Black Whirlwind” placed by this effect to the GY, and if you do, take 1000 damage.

Effect cuối cùng của Simoon sẽ send Black Whirlwind xuống GY trong EP và nhận 1000 damage. Theo text và ruling OCG, trong trường hợp Whirlwind không xuống GY mà bị banish bởi Macro Cosmos, người chơi vẫn nhận 1000 thiệt hại. Nhưng tại AE, do từ nối "and if you do", Black Whirlwind cần phải được send xuống GY mới nhận dam.

Fusion Deployment

融合派兵
このカード名のカードは１ターンに１枚しか発動できず、このカードを発動するターン、自分は融合モンスターしかＥＸデッキから特殊召喚できない。
①：ＥＸデッキの融合モンスター１体を相手に見せ、そのモンスターにカード名が記された融合素材モンスター１体を手札・デッキから特殊召喚する。

Fusion Deployment
Reveal 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck and Special Summon, from your hand or Deck, 1 of the Fusion Materials whose name is mentioned on that monster, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters, the turn you activate this card.
You can only activate 1 “Fusion Deployment” per turn.

Tại phiên bản JP, restrict “you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters, the turn you activate this card” là một "điều kiện" (condition). Cho dù người chơi triệu hồi quái thú non-Fusion từ Extra trước đó, Deployment cũng không thể kích hoạt.

Tại phiên bản AE, restrict đó là một phần của effect, nghĩa là người chơi chỉ lock Fusion sau khi resolve lá bài một cách bình thường, mà không check trước đó triệu hồi non-Fusion hay chưa.

Mausoleum of the Emperor

①：お互いのプレイヤーは、自分メインフェイズに以下の効果から１つを選択して発動できる。
●１０００ＬＰを払って発動できる。１体のリリースを必要とする手札のモンスター１体の通常召喚を、リリースなしで行う。
●２０００ＬＰを払って発動できる。２体のリリースを必要とする手札のモンスター１体の通常召喚を、リリースなしで行う。

Mausoleum of the Emperor
During the Main Phase: The turn player can activate these effect(s).
● Pay 1000 LP; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 monster from your hand that requires 1 Tribute, without Tributing.
● Pay 2000 LP; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 monster from your hand that requires 2 Tributes, without Tributing.
(This is their one Normal Summon/Set for that turn.)

Ở bản JP, cụm từ "通常召喚/Normal Summon" là khái niệm để chỉ cả Normal Summon và Set. Tuy nhiên tại AE, Normal Summon chỉ là Normal Summon, nếu muốn bao gồm cả Set thì cần viết là "Normal Summon/Set". Hay Mausoleum of the Emperor không thể sử dụng effect để Set monster.

Khaos Starsource Dragon

空隙の原星竜
光・闇属性のドラゴン族モンスター＋ドラゴン族モンスター
このカード名の①②の効果はそれぞれ１ターンに１度しか使用できない。
①：このカードが融合召喚した場合、その融合素材とした自分の光・闇属性モンスターの数まで、相手フィールドのカードを対象として発動できる。そのカードを破壊する。
②：このカードが除外された場合、自分フィールドの光・闇属性のドラゴン族・レベル４モンスター１体を対象として発動できる。そのモンスターのレベルを８にする。

Khaos Starsource Dragon
1 LIGHT or DARK Dragon monster + 1 Dragon monster
If this card is Fusion Summoned: You can target cards your opponent controls, up to the number of LIGHT and DARK monsters used as this card’s material; destroy them.
If this card is banished: You can target 1 Level 4 LIGHT or DARK Dragon monster you control; its Level becomes 8.
You can only use each effect of “Khaos Starsource Dragon” once per turn.

Ở bản JP, Khaos Starsource Dragon ① effect chỉ tính "your" Light và Dark monster, hay chỉ tính nguyên liệu mà người điều khiển nó đã sử dụng. Nếu dùng Super Polymerization để triệu hồi Khaos Starsource Dragon, người chơi không thể bắn lá bài nào của đối thủ.

Tại AE, text của Khaos Starsource Dragon không hề có chữ "your", do đó có thể bắn thoải mái kể cả sử dụng nguyên liệu của đối thủ.

Cần chú ý rằng với phiên bản TCG được reprint trong OTS 28, Khaos Starsource Dragon đã được errata thêm "your" và giống với OCG. Tuy nhiên Database AE vẫn giữ như cũ, do đó lá bài tạm thời vẫn được chơi đúng với text trong format AE.

Exosister Kaspitell

このカード名の①③の効果はそれぞれ１ターンに１度しか使用できない。
①：このカードが「エクソシスター」モンスターを素材としてＸ召喚した場合に発動できる。このターン、お互いに墓地からモンスターを特殊召喚できない。
②：このカードは墓地から特殊召喚されたモンスターとの戦闘では破壊されない。
③：このカードのＸ素材を１つ取り除いて発動できる。デッキから「エクソシスター」モンスター１体を手札に加える。

Exosister Kaspitell
2 Level 4 monsters
Cannot be destroyed by battle with a monster Special Summoned from the GY.
You can only use each of the following effects of “Exosister Kaspitell” once per turn.
If this card is Xyz Summoned using an “Exosister” monster as material: Neither player can Special Summon monsters from the GYs for the rest of this turn.
You can detach 1 material from this card; add 1 “Exosister” monster from your Deck to your hand.

Tại phiên bản JP, Exosister Kaspitell ① effect là Optional Trigger Effect. Người chơi có thể tự do xếp chain Trigger khi XYZ Summon Kaspitell, ví dụ: Chain 1: Exosister Carpedivem ② effect, Chain 2: Exosister Kaspitell ① effect.

Tuy nhiên tại AE, Exosister Kaspitell ① effect lại là Mandatory Trigger Effect. Người chơi không thể thoải mái xếp chain được nữa, Mandatory cần phải xếp trước Optional. Ví dụ trường hợp trên sẽ là: Chain 1: Exosister Kaspitell ① effect, Chain 2: Exosister Carpedivem ② effect.
